OneHouse Immigration Initiative
OneHouse Immigration Initiate intends to assist newly comers in their settling in the States, by providing them with education, service, advocacy, and participation opportunity. The project plans to establish online information and referral service and network among the new comers, to serve immigrant community at large.
Do you know any immigrant family new to your neighborhood? Be their hero by simply saying “Hello.” Do you see a foreigner who has limited language skill? Be their voice. Many immigrant family, whether their English skill is good or poor, they often pay for language services almost for anything, setting utility bills, job application, public office visit, any interview to go, or even health care incidence. Mostly, they need a friend who can stand for them.
